I'm delusional。 This was the worst book in the series yet, but I loved it。 3/4's of it was plain arguing。 I could barely stand the mc's they got so annoying and the consistency in Lionblazes character was awful, they totally changed him to a rageful, mean, blood-thirsty cat。 I'm upset, but still quite delusional, so I liked this book enough for 5 stars。 I'm delusional。 This was the worst book in the series yet, but I loved it。 3/4's of it was plain arguing。 I could barely stand the mc's they got so annoying and the consistency in Lionblazes character was awful, they totally changed him to a rageful, mean, blood-thirsty cat。 I'm upset, but still quite delusional, so I liked this book enough for 5 stars。 。。。more

Why are these cats so dramatic and also how did this series go from “housecat wants to learn to live in the wild!” to LITERAL CAT HELL???? 10 year old me would’ve been TRAUMATIZED I tell you

This book was AMAZING。 Exciting from end to start, I couldn’t stop reading it that’s why I finished it in a day。 I must say, this is probably my favorite book of the 7th Warriors series。 I’m very excited to read what will happen next。 Absolutely worth reading this book if you read the other books of the 7th series! Definitely 5 out of 5 stars from me。

The evil cat Ashfur is still keeping the Clans from communicating with StarClan, and now he has the Dark Forest cats under his control as well。 Can the living Clan cats overcome the spirits of the dead Warriors?

4。5/5Wow, this one was intense!! Every minute in the dangerous Dark Forest had me on the edge of my seat, worried about each beloved cat that was in there。 I was constantly fretting over them! I didn't realize how attached I'd become to him, and I have this horrible feeling that he's going to die。 I really hope I'm wrong! I didn't realize how attached I'd become to him, and I have this horrible feeling that he's going to die。 I really hope I'm wrong! I feel for him because of his outcast standing (although he was reinstated as a full medicine cat, yay!!), but I also love him to death because he is still fighting for the Clans and trying to make things right even though it seemed like everyone was against him。 Please don't harm my baby Shadowsight T。T Speaking of Shadowsight, I had all the feels over his dynamic with Tigerstar and Dovewing。 I love the close sense of family they shared!"When you and your littermates were kits, your mother and I worked so hard to protect you from anything that might cause you harm。 Especially you。 You were such a fragile little scrap, and you used to have those seizures。。。Well, I see now that Dovewing and I have to take a step back。 Pouncestep and Lightleap are warriors now, and we have to accept that they might be badly injured in battle - or even killed。 So I guess that goes for medicine cats, too。 Your battles aren't the same, but you still have to take risks for your Clan。 I'm sorry I lost my temper。 I'm proud of you。"[。。。]"Choosing between my son and the Clans is a harder choice than you might think。 I love you all the same, Shadowsight, and I trust you。 If you're determined to see this through, I will support you。"BRB, there's something in my eye。There seems to be no end to Ashfur's dark reign, and I honestly have no idea how this is going to resolve。 I like that I don't know what's going to happen! My only complaint is that the massive power that Ashfur has gained seems a little far-fetched。 He had no power in life, how does he control so much in death? (view spoiler)[And how the hell can he make the Dark Forest shrink?!?! (hide spoiler)] I just don't get it。Side note, Graystripe is acting leader omg!! I love him so much。 I can't even entertain the possibility of him ever dying。 He's going to live forever。 HE HAS TO。"I suspect there are things you could tell me, if I asked you to," [Graystripe] meowed, "but I won't ask。 I trust you, Bristlefrost。 You're a brave and intelligent warrior, and I know you'll make the best decisions for your Clan。 And for a certain young SkyClan tom。 Do what you must - and may StarClan light your path。""Graystripe is right," Ivypool mewed。 "You're brave and capable, and if any cat can do this, you can。 Take care, my dear daughter。"FEELSFEELSFEELS。I just need Rootspring and Bristlefrost to get together and have kits already。 The no mates outside of your Clan rule is so dumb。。。I mean, how many cats have broken that rule?! I hope one of them decides to leave their clan for the other! 。。。more

This book was great! It is probably my favorite in the series yet! I can't wait to read the final book! Not particularly good, but not particularly bad。 The plot in this arc is being paced out a lot better than many of the others, though。

4 1/2 :)Took me agesss to read because of how busy school has made me but I enjoyed the twists and turns of this novel, especially as I like the dark forest。 Maybe it was a little slow-paced in places but it didn't bother me, as I read a little each day。 4 1/2 :)Took me agesss to read because of how busy school has made me but I enjoyed the twists and turns of this novel, especially as I like the dark forest。 Maybe it was a little slow-paced in places but it didn't bother me, as I read a little each day。 。。。more

Moved along really slow until the last 100 or so pages of the book where the action picked up。 I felt it was dragged out just so they could make 6 books, people kept getting stuck in the dark forest, when some escaped they had to go back to save the others, the same cycle over and over again。

Andrea

On one day I read 80 pages, and on the next day I finished it。 I think that says it all。 The actions in the Dark Forest were hauntingly captivating and I absolutely couldn’t put the book down! I loved the tension, the eerie athmosphere and the fear that caught over to the reader! Brought me right back to the feeling when first reading the books as a child。

Basically a summary, is that we have 3 main protagonists, Bristlefrost, Rootspring, and Shadowsight。 When Shadowsight gets a vision from "Starclan" that the only way to save Bramblestar is to leave him out on the snow, but instead of him healing, this weakens Bramblestar he loses a life and while he does Ashfur takes advantage and takes over his body。 One thing I find about the first book of the series is it is interesting-don't get me wrong, but slow always slow and not as fitting with the other books, is is basically a whole introduction to all the characters and how life is in the Clans currently。 One thing I had a problem with is Bristlefrost mainly wanted to be a warrior so that she and Steamleaf could be mates? SO as soon as your a warrior you can have mates? Thats really early though, because Bristlefrost is really young, and Stemleaf apparently thinks of her as a "really good friend" we don't get a lot of background on how they are "really good friends。" ( Because they grow really distant when Steamleaf and Spotfur are mates, and people think Bristlefrost is Bramblestar ( Ashfur's spy)。 They was the overused "Starclan has left us," "Something is wrong with Starclan this is the WORST event ever" trope, that happens every single series。 Frankly with the other series before this, I did not like Violetshine or Twigbranch, but I did like Bristlefrost Rootspring and Shadowsight and thought they were all really well written! Each warrior series I feel could be finished in 4-5 books and it does seem like sometimes-half the time the plot is sometimes a filler-its interesting but we don't have to see everytime they catch a simple rabbit, and then thats it。 Place of no stars was the best book of the series, I loved this book in particular where they travel into the dead woods, tensions where running high! They questioned why can't cats from other clans be mates when they love each other so much? Bristlefrost and Rootspring are actually a good pair, I love how Shadowsight never gave up hope, even though people lost faith and trust in him, and he made up for that with true bravery。 When attacking Ashfur that was such a good scene。 The ending was a cliffhanger-why WHY????? This series for me is the best in the warriors series we also deal with the unfinished deal of Ashfur and Squirrelflight, his obsession with her is actually quiet creepy and disturbing。 Squirrelflight and Bramblestar's loyalty to eachother is heartwarming! I can't wait for the last book! 。。。more
